Clemson, SC business Backstreets Pub posts ignorant sign and feels the wrath of the 2A crowd. Now they can't kill their social media presence fast enough to keep up with the backlash. This will be a fun one to follow.
Facebook Page EDIT: They pulled their page down already BUT, you can still find them here as well: Yelp Page Twitter (@backstreetspub) Trip Advisor Head over and tell these jackasses what you you think about their sign. You can't leave comments on their wall, but you can comment on their posts AND leave a message on their website. Give them a piece of your mind. Hat tip Say No To Gun Bans for the image. |

Wouldn't it be hilarious if they got robbed and no CCW holder stopped it?

Freedom of speech. Freedom of association.
Works for them, works for me. |

Lol, our police and military are douchebags huh?
Looky who the real douche-canoe is now. Dumbass. |
|
An 8.5 x 11 piece of paper in a window would carry no legal authority in my AO.
But anyway, these tards deserve all the criticism coming their way. |
|
so this guy "douchbag" doesnt want my business. i'm ok with that.

I've got news for them, that signage does not meet our ccw signage requirements in this State.
Oh, and they picked the wrong locale to post signage liks that, lol. |
|
I have been there many a time. Not surprised by the sign as that place is a favorite for the small hippy crowd in Clemson....and grad students. It was always a welcomed change to the over crowded Frat heavy bars, more mature crowd sometimes. Anyway, I have not been in years and it looks like I will not be returning.

meh their business their rules. Dont like it dont go there? Freedom of speech and all that.
|
|
hope this place gets shut down. they dont have the financial backing that BWW does.

|
As it turns out, it is perfectly legal to carry in that establishment because their signage does not meet no-carry sign requirements under state law.

Meh ... I don't care.
At least he's honest about it. Having said that ... I would do everything in my power to make sure I can divert all the business I can from that establishment and celebrate his business failing and his family going hungry. |

My favorite
Food sucks, over priced. Owners a blatant liberal idiot that uses the eatablishment as a cover for his meth lab in the back I hope this... View Quote |

They are getting crushed on Yelp. Who's the "loser, douchebag" now, genius?

College town in a VERY conservative area, year good luck with that pal....Wonder who the Eisenstein that thought that was a good idea?

|
Don't you guys love carrying in places that expressly forbid it?

New favorite....
Tech B. 3/18/2014 I f*cked the owners wife on the prep counter the other night. She was just as good as the food and service... Sh*tty! View Quote Awesome |

Vote with your wallet, they will see the error of their ways when Ramen Noodles are all that's for dinner.

I have driven by that place on the way to games, but never stopped in. Can gladly say I never will. It always looked to me like one of those places where the owner was trying to forever be a "college frat boy".

If we were from a certain demographic, we'd take the guy to court to force him to take our money.

Probably too dumb to stay in business very long.
Plus he pretty much admitted to voting for Obama. |
|
The way I read that, the person who wrote it signed it "douchebag."
Phrasing, grammar, etc... |

Review from the Yelp page. LOL
"Lousy food lousy service. Overall a very douchy atmosphere. There is no point in eating at a place that clearly hates America so much. Excerpt from the menu: "Putin Pie Communist fries Obama Omelette Mao's Macaroni" Douchy. Very douchy." |

1 star after 200+
I wouldn't even click through to read the reviews from my phone. Yelp is going to make a killing offering to resolve those negative reviews. Each star is worth a nearly 10% increase in sales... As a result, businesses are suing over bad reviews on yelp. If you lie - I would at the very least expect a letter from their lawyers. The cost of the letter is worth it considering what a negative yelp review means in dollars and cents. |
