Science stated for hundreds of years that Pluto was a planet and then recently they just said its a giant ice bucket.
Science has proven to me that they are capable of being very very wrong even with tremendous amounts of data confirming otherwise. Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. In the end......where is the debris. |

There are scientific laws and scientific theories. a scientific law is something that we know to be true because we can recreate it. for example, water freezing at 32 degrees Fahrenheit. What you provided examples of are scientific theories, which can change as new data is provided. Also, what you posted are not absolutes. Eggs and coffee are not always good for you, and are not always bad for you. |

Pluto was discovered in 1930. In the entire intervening time, it has only completed 1/3 of it's orbit - but that orbit is largely unchanged from the 247.69 years orbital period, calculated back in 1931. Today, Pluto's orbit is listed as 247.68 years. And, the "just a bucket of ice" doesn't agree with current estimates, and I also doubt that was the historical assessment of the structure.
