I grew up watching NASCAR and still enjoy it to this day. However, I think the biggest problem with it today is the number of multicar teams. I think it was much better and far more competitive when it was every man for himself. I think the car owners generally have one or two outstanding drivers and the remaining drivers on their team is mainly there to provide an assist or run interference.

I hate these shows with a passion but this one looks like it might be worth watching. http://www.velocity.com/tv-shows/americarna/videos/restoring-marty-robbins-777-plymouth-belvedere.htm |

I watched the 500 this weekend and I'm just wondering how they'll score the race when all the cars are wrecked and the winner has to get pushed across the finish line

My team is sucking, but that's because other teams wrecked me out. Assholes

There is an episode of Fast 'n Loud where they visit his town while delivering a car to him. It shows a lot more detail of the town then the pics. Pretty cool. ETA: here it is. |

Kurt to do the double.
http://www.racer.com/index.php/52-indycar/101583-kurt-busch-set-for-indy-500-with-andretti-squad It would never happen, but I would love to see the Texas Cup Spring date moved to the same weekend as the open wheel race after Indy. Run the trucks or Nationwide on friday, open wheel on saturday, and Cup on sunday. Let those who would love to do a double have a weekend at a track where they could pull it off. Win/win for both series. |

Y'all see Cryle just about knock the wall down in N'wide practice? Glad that he's ok of course, but he pounded it pretty good

It is a feeder system for up and coming drivers. No need for the established guys being down there and soaking up that gravy. |

Anyone else see the dodgecoin sponsored car that will face at Talladega?

Had to laugh at JJ and Gordon fussing about the tire after the Fontana race. Your setup and CC's were to blame.
I wish NASCAR would let them start tinkering even more on the setups and cars, at least let them go back to selecting their rear gear ratio and crank those rpms up. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
