Prayers to Schumi, my all time favorite driver.
Not that it's the end of the world but the one new engine I heard sounded like a swarm of really, really pissed off bees. Worse than listening to a World Cup game in South Africa. FORZA FERRARI! |

I was convinced that the V-8's would sound like piddling little weedwackers after the V-10 era, but they turned out alright. I really don't like the 15K rev limit though... I wish they would nix that.. I wanna hear a turbo'd car at 20K+.  It might JUST turn out to be a good year to be a Ferrari fan too, if the design department has gotten their collective shit together. Let's see if they can put the brakes on the RBR machine... I wanna see Seb pissed off at least once this year. |

Eric Boullier out as team principal at Lotus. (Said to be heading for McLaren)
Replaced by Lotus F1 co-chairman Gerard Lopez. (Genii Capital wanted to "close the gap between its strategic, commercial and sporting activities") ETA: And in other news, no more stopping on the track after the race. Cars must be able to return to parc ferme. They are also allowing the teams to break curfew (6) times this year (up from 2). |

Ron likes to develop young drivers like he did with Hakkinen, Raikonnen and Hamilton. I'm sure his experience with Alonso has left him with a bad taste regarding established stars. Ron also wasn't thrilled with the last few years Senna raced with them... Grosjean to McLaren would make a good fit if Magnussen doesn't pan out. RJ is the classic 'Don't rock the boat', smile for the cameras type that Ron loves. Remember that Kimi left because he was tired of Ron's corporate bullshit. |
