Thanks, I sent it to my buddies who have never heard Abraham Lincoln's quote: "Not everything you read on the internet is true".
Some of them are quite gullible. I can believe they would open the attachment without hesitation. Then I'd have to listen to them bitch and moan about it every time we meet.

The grammar in that letter is poor, the sign off is "Yours Truly", which is not appropriate for legal correspondence.

If that isn't enough to tell us it is a scam, I don't know what is.

Nope, a court in the United States. Mine were all for New York, using a spoofed email address. I replied to one with "LOL" and they responded with another threat. The email header showed an IP address in India.

edit: They were spoofing jonesday.com email addresses.
