Looks ok to me. I am no expert though. Clean, lube, and shoot.

I don't know what kind of copy rifle that is, but Colt fires 40rds. out of every rifle during QC, for example.

However, I'd prefer not to buy a used gun and get someone's return or a lemon that failed test-fire and had to be tweaked 15 times until they said "fuck it" at shift change and sent it to me. |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I'm gonna give a +1 to this one. If I paid brand new top dollar for a rifle that looks like it was new 500rds ago, I would be asking for a newer replacement. As for functionality, IIRC, if the bolt hasn't migrated between uppers, I don't think it will be a problem. |

Lighten the fuck up Francis. That looks totally normal. Is it a BCM? 20 or 30 rounds of shitty cheap test ammo will do that. Maybe try a little solvent in the bore instead of dry fucking patches. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If they sold it to you as a brand-new rifle, I would ask to see if any of the others look like that, or if you just got one that the test guy really liked that day. As stated before, unless it has migrated between uppers (more specifically the barrel extensions) I don't think it will be much of a problem, especially at that low of a round count. |

I'm gonna shoot the motherfucker tomorrow either way. If it won't run right, I'll send it back. The next guy will really wonder how all that brass got on the bolt face. |
|
Dirty bore, no big deal, that bolt face....it looks like the rifle was used for a demo where at least a couple hundred rounds were fired, or maybe they set it aside for more than the usual testing. In that case I can't understand why they didn't clean it up when they got through.
