42 years around cats and I have no explanation for this behavior. There is an explanation video where some Vet says it's coughing but I call BS. I would bet money hes screwing with a dog. Perhaps dogies get in trouble for barking. LOL |

Put enough cats around enough dogs and I'm not too surprised that eventually one cat will try to imitate the dog (with more success than he has imitating people). I'm seeing the development of a "vocabulary" with my young cats now, The Chairman is learning all kinds of variations on his meow, inflection and whatnot. It's funny.

The San Diego Zoo used to have a female mountain lion that was raised in a human home that included children, dogs, and house cats. One day as I walked up to her cage, she looked me right in the eye and said "Meow." I replied "Meow?" She said again "Meow." It sounded just like a house cat. I told the keeper, who was amused. Sorry I have been away..
I've been commanding a darkside army on Facebook for a few weeks.. Jack Bauer and the plug protector conspiracy... We troll purse swinging little old cat ladies.. It's way moar fun than it sounds.. Anyway, Jack Bauer's army (who only numbered around 300 last night) managed to nuke a 30,000 member cat group from orbit. They had to hit the master reset on the page a wiped like 10 years of cat posts.. I got banned and the darkside pounced.. Jack's group is over 450 members now and the number of people banned has just passed 400... In like 5 hours... It also looks like we may end up writing a Jack Bauer book... There is moar than enough interest to not give it a shot. |
