I like the aesthetic, but there are a bazillion good locking pocket knife designs. No reason to risk a cut up finger or hand IMHO. Problem with a little "light use" knife is when something comes up you need a real knife, what's on you? The wrong tool for the job. That's what got my finger nearly taken off. |

Rediedge knife sharpener
Not the cheapest, and is smaller so you have to take care when using it. It is pocket sized, fits on a key chain and is good for field use. Very handy when skinning large game. It is nice always having a sharpener around. |

Spoon rest
I know, I know... a spoon rest. But really, if Chuck Norris needed a spoon rest, this is what he would buy. Thick stainless steel and very large. Won't shatter if dropped or melt if left near a flame. Can also deflect .22LR bullets. |
