This guy ended up on my doorstep last Saturday. I live in the country and sometimes P.O.S. animal owners just drop off their dog or whatever to find a new home for whatever reason. I cannot keep him as I've already got 3 dogs (1 pup). No collar, tags, or any other ID. I've called the local Vets, Humane Society, went door to door, and put out fliers with his picture. He appears to be young around 2'ish (a guess), is lab or maybe lab/boxer mix, tail is docked, not fixed, knows sit, shake, come, chills out in a crate (goes right in), does not mess in the crate, doesn't bark, seems fine with other dogs (didn't growl or posture - has not been in direct or prolonged contact with my dogs due to not knowing if he's got something - just thru the crate and kennel walls), takes treats very gently, is a little timid (accpected) but coming around, walks ok on a leash, and just seems like too nice of a dog to go to a shelter. Please let me know if you or someone you know would like to take this dog and make him a part of your family. He is honestly way too nice of a dag to rot away in a shelter or be put down. Bump... I'm in Oakland County and wish I could take him, but my current living situation won't allow for it.

Labs are such good dogs.

I can help out with a legendary arfcom relay if we need to relocate him.

My membership cash will go to this dag if he gets a new home.
Labs rock. A docked tail makes sense. My Lab Nero has a coffee table clearing tail. He nailed a friend in the nuts with that tail last week.
I mean a drop to his knees rack to the nuts.

I'll get the membership next month.

I hope the pooch gets a forever home soon .

Id take in another lab to keep my lab and his 4 friends company but just no more room till we relocate .

And I hope the person that dumped that dog off to fend for himself gets the bad karma they deserve

Thanks to all of you who offered to take him in or to help with vet and travel costs. He went home with his new family today. I'm sensing a lot of spoiled dag time in his foreseeable future. Sad to see him go, but glad he found a happy home. Thanks again Arfcom!
