can someone cough up the Twitter version of this melodrama?

FD Defense creates a  piston driven provision AR 308 rifle, markets it as the most accurate and reliable self-loading rifle in the world, ever. Then proceeds to creat multiple accounts on SnipersHide and spam the SemiAuto section relentlessly posing as fictitious owners boosting his product.

Possibly, but so far it's self-penalizing... I don't think he's winning too many new customers with this thread.  I say keep giving him rope.

The forum bashing thing seems a "rule of convenience", not that I have an axe to grind with Snipershide. However I admit I don't understand who the players are and what the lawsuit has to do with anything

Apparently they think LWRC had a time machine, came to the future and steal there design. Then promptly returned to the past to use in their rifles..

I've been following that 6.5 SAUM GAP thread as well. Freaking awesome.

I own a .260 Rem AR10 that GA Precision built for me before the GAP-10 was around. It's a consistent .4 - .6 MOA rifle, for 5rd groups.

At Wyoming altitudes, the 6.5 SAUM is supersonic well past a mile.  Heck, my .260 Remington gas gun is supersonic at a mile with the 130gr VLD fired at 2850fps. The SAUM pushes it to 3250fps at lower pressure.

I also forgot to mention that it's probably the best place to stay abreast of what local, State, and National matches are coming up, as well as some of the coolest group buys.

For example, there is an awesome group buy going on right now for Thunderbeast Titanium suppressors.

Yep, a group buy there is how I got my TBAC there a year ago.

I've also enjoyed reading about the 6.5 SAUM, which will be my next rifle caliber.

Supersonic almost out to mile. What's not to like? :-)

I'm not promoting my product.
My personal existence here does not equate to promotion, as there are many hundreds of people here from firearms companies who are not paying members.
I'm here issuing a friendly personal challenge, that is all.
If there is something specific that is promotion, let me know and I will go back and delete it.

Well, I never heard of your company before you posted here, so consider this thread a free ad here, I guess.
