ha i screwed it up too
He lost me at "all kinds of picatinny rails all over the place." |

My 870 that I never shoot anymore is a 3 1/2" with ribbed barrel. I wouldn't buy a new one to put that kit on.

Even my dog is looking at that going "why?"
Just as an aside, that guy really needs to cut down on the Red Bull. |

I picked one of these up at the Rockcastle pro am. It's actually allot of fun to play with, especially when you add a vertical grip. The kit was 249 directly from the dealer, I figured it was pretty close to the 200 tax stamp and it shortened the gun up to about what I wanted in a sbs..... and I don’t need permission to cross state lines with it.
I put a light on it and use it as my next to the bed gun. |

why do all bullpup conversions look like absolute abortions?

I hope all this bullpuppery is just a fad. View Quote Not in the world of shotguns. A standard length 870 is just too long to maneuver in my hallways and inside my home. Even so, there are weapon retention issues with the longer configuration. I've tried to make it work but it's too long. Basically, a standard 870 with an 18" barrel is a no-go for me. I've been watching the Keltec shotgun (KSG) and the UTAS shotgun to see if they're worth a darn. I really like the 14 shot capacity of the KSG. My answer to date is, no, too expensive, too unreliable. I already have an 870. This could be a shotgun enabler for me. How many rounds does it hold? |

Looks pretty cool. I'd like to hear the no-go's about it though...

What is the longest magazine tube you can safely mount to an 18" barrel? Does anyone know? |

Looks interesting. Even better, I wonder if a bullpup kit for an 1187 could be engineered or it this kit could be adapted to the 1187? Either way, it looks like rapid reloads would be a bitch to carry out, what with the stock and the pistol grip both being close enough to limit hand movements during reloading.

I read a review on these somewhere (Bud's Gunshop?) that said the trigger linkage would not engage at every presentation angle. Then I realized I like my old 20" riot gun and quit reading reviews.

I put one together because I had a wingmaster with a cracked stock. I like it. A cousin is going to use it for her slug gun this deer season. The reason she likes it is that she's only 5' and not very strong. This stock puts all the weight in the back. She has trouble with front heavy guns and keeping on target, making shooting sticks a must, but not with this. She's getting five inch groups, offhand at 50yds with foster slugs, whereas before she couldn't hit a paper plate. Personally, I can shoot it just as fast as any pump gun, the trigger is not bad, recoil seems reduced and I get a whole new gun for $250 that's as reliable as an 870. I'm working on off-hand loading and I think I have it figured out. The unit is strong, tight and very easy to assemble.

Guy on the video looks like a fat Steve Martin.
That stock reminds me of one time when I walked in on two guys buttfucking in the bathroom at the Masquerade in Atlanta. Basically its really gay

So you can take your 870 to the next level of Tapco-fucking?
That thing is stupid. |
|
I like it, if it works.
I wonder if it fits the Chinese 870 clones? |
|
That looks like a good way for an idiot to blow his left hand off.

I have the kit and love it.
I have talked to the owner and had a good conservation about it. Basically, it is an updated Mossberg 500 bullpup design that is fitted for the 870 platform. BTW, he also corrected some of the problems of the Mossberg bullpup design. |
