bear with me, I'm in a metal state that I cn't explain. 48 hours ago I was a successful Non-commissioned Officer in the US Army with less tha two year to retirement. I was invited to a dinner party with some higher ranking Soldiers with whom I woulld not normally associate. Brigade, Division, and Corps level Senior NCO's that would normally not have anything to say to me, but tonight they brought me in and they were very interseted in what I had to say. Started out as just bunch of "good ol boys" having a fe laughs and talking a bit of shop but that didn't last long. It became pretty clear that I was the center of attention, but I sue as fuck didn't know why.

Whatever they gave me is making it very hard to focus on this keyboard. The buttoms look like they're draped in buffolo skin and my eyes are having trouble guiding my fingers to their targets. I have so much to tell you but the disconnect from my mind to my fingers is making it a frustrating prospect.

It's like sitting behind Lincoln at Fords theater, knowing what's about to happen but being powerless to stop it. This is the atomic garage sale that I find myself in.
