Angry Lib
The reality of higher premiums and the broken promise that Americans can keep their current health care plans isn’t “quite the way they sold it,” she said. |

Useful idiots getting what they voted for and now crying about it.

But I'll bet that this was one of the ones who pissed on anyone who said that this was the way it would turn out. Fuckin' liberals. |

“I’m in the individual market and I got the letter, the same letter everyone’s talking about. I live in D.C., so it’s a state exchange, and I went on and I guess I can roughly get the same insurance…but it will go up from about $160 a month and a $2,500 deductible — if I want to keep a $2,500 deductible, it will go up to about $300 a month,” Powers explained.
The administration may argue that its the “young” and “healthy” who will see their premiums go up, but that’s really not “quite the way they sold it,” she added. View Quote These stupid bastards thought they were voting to spend someone else's money to help their premiums go down! Where's Nelson's HA HA? Bet she's off the White House Christmas card list. Same dumbasses will vote to seize guns then be surprised that they're getting lined up against a wall for a reward. |

0 fucks given
I hope your premiums continue to skyrocket She'll continue voting democrat |

She is not pissed about Obamacare.
She is pissed that she has to help pay for it. She evidently thought only Republicans would have that responsibility. When they begin trying to fix Obamacare in a few years, she will want everything in the current law continued... ...with the bills sent to someone else. |

I know Miss Leftie there will never read this. But I’m going to speak to her and hope some other leftist will read this, and maybe begin to understand.
Yes, Obamacare sucks. But the only reason we know it sucks is that we see it compared to the system we used to have. Pretty soon, the Democrats will start saying that they can make Obamacare work if we give them more money. At first it will be a few billion, then a few tens of billions a year, and then a few hundred billion a year. And they will blame the failures on “greedy” Republicans who aren’t willing to impose even more taxes on the population to fund yet another socialist clusterfuck. The Republicans (as in the “Tea Party” Republicans, the ones that get called nutcase extremists) were right about this weren’t they? And that’s not all they are right about. Obamacare will get people killed, Obamacare will cause misery and suffering. That being said, most people will probably never notice it. The reason is that they will have nothing else to compare it too. Consider Social Security. That’s a program leftists love and it’s usually hailed as a success. But the program takes 7.5% of everyone’s income, then forces the employer to match that amount making it a 15% tax. (more or less) And for this we get a pittance that we can’t live off of when we retire plus we get a system that is going broke. Now, imagine a world where there was no Social Security program. Instead, everyone got taxed the same amount and that money went into a personally owned and managed retirement fund. Sure, imagine that there are some restrictions on how the money is invested so no one will lose everything by investing in magic beans or whatever. In this world most people would retire as millionaires. They would pay off their houses, have very comfortable retirements, and could pay their own medical bills. And if a worker died early then the money in his retirement account would effectively be a life insurance plan so his family had something to live off of. (Yes, I suppose a small handful of people would fall through the cracks of this plan. But the government could fund these people’s retirements as well a Social Security does now for a relatively small amount of money.) Imagine living in a creditor nation instead of a debtor nation. Imagine the middle class building wealth for retirement. Imagine grandparents being able to pay to send the grandkids to college. Imagine… sadly we have to imagine because that’s not what the Liberals of the 30s gave us. They gave us a turkey of a plan. And it’s not just this. The old system of medical care we had had all kinds of problems too thanks to government intervention… No, not just intervention. I am not a Libertarian really. But thanks to stupid government intervention that is not based on market based approaches to our problems. Pretty much everything the left touches turns to crap. So here’s a novel approach, stop supporting liberal causes. Or, at the very least, try to listen to Conservatives before you brand them a bunch of kooks. If they were kooks then they wouldn’t be right most of the time. |
