I love the place. Especially the Med Chicken Delite, so good.

Used to work a few hours a week at one years ago, good stuff.
Used to make the dough fresh daily and impressed the girls with my pizza tossing skills |
|

Didn't know Papa Murphy's had made it that far east. Started in Oregon.
Good pie. |

Have to skip the italian sausage. the greasy funkify's the entire pie. otherwise not bad.
|
|
They do have good crust.
My son just said the Delite is a pain to make. The dough is so thin, it's hard to keep it from tearing. |

Went there when I moved to Ohio. I guess the preparer caught the look on my face when I saw him wrapping my uncooked pizza in plastic wrap. "You have to bake it" Me: WTF?!
Never been back. Part of getting pizza is so you don't have to cook dinner. Plus the pizza sucked anyway. |
|
Good stuff, we get it frequently.
That said the "Cheeseburger" pizza with fucking ketchup and hamburger dill pickles is some of the foulest virtually inedible food like products I have ever attempted to eat. Everything else I have had there is good. |

I love that place. They used to have one about 6 miles down the road from me, which just happened to be right on the way home from work. A lot of times I would pick up a pie after work and throw it in the oven when I was ready to eat. Like others have said, fantastic crust. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is by far my favorite chain pizza. Unfortunately the closest one to me now is about 20 minutes away. Not terribly far, but I would just rather order papa johns at that distance. The local one's closing was about a year ago, and I have only had it once since. Before that I had it maybe once every month.

Gonna have to try it, I drive by one in my neighborhood every day. Wife and I have talked about it but never got around to it. I'll grab one or two on the way home from work tomorrow.
Chicken, bacon and avocado sounds good, any other recommendations? |

Gormet garlic chicken pizza is the bomb. I think their pizzas with red sauce
are |
|
It's garbage, great marketing, though. A pizzeria with no oven, use yours.

i just went and bought cookie dough! thanks guys! making me fatter...

5 meat double stuffed with a 5 meat top....
25 minutes in the oven on the paper tray it comes with...have your pizza stone on the other rack all hot and raring to go Use pizza peel to take off the paper tray at the 25 minute mark...leave teh tray on the counter place on pizza stone for about 45 seconds ( NO MORE ) "peel" off and place back on the paper tray cut pizza place slices in nuke oven for one minute PERFECT PIZZA!!!! |
|
Cheap, though.
Gourmet chicken and bacon garlic. The three inch thick stuffed mother, with some artichoke hearts tossed in. I get the family size, have to put a bend in it to cram it in the oven 'Twas a sad day for me, though, when they started putting a god-awful cheddar blend on their breadsticks. Totally ruined them, IMO |

Is it cheaper than a regular takeout pizza chain? If I'm doing half the work and providing the oven it better be cheap.
|
|
better than most chain delivery places.
around here I only get better pizza by 1) making my own, or 2) going to a few local non-chain joints. |

They always have great deals too and good customer service. I rarely ever spend more than $15 there, and I used to think it silly to spend that much for something I had to cook myself but it's worth it. |

The new pan pizzas are pretty damn tasty. There are a couple others that we rotate through too.

Love it. We eat it probably twice a month. Always get the thick crust meat pizza. Two slices AT MOST are a meal. I can eat leftovers for a day or two on those.....

I love that place. A little extra work, but it's cheap and their pizzas taste better than domino's in my opinion.

Never had a bad one from them....the 5 meat stuffed pizza is a serious gut bomb.

Love their stuff.
When the wife is out of town, I'll buy their stuffed chicken bacon ranch pizza for ~$13 and feed myself for a week. |

Fuck Papa Murphy's.
from the PM FAQ page: Does Papa Murphy's accept EBT — Electronic Benefits Transfer? Yes. Papa Murphy's gladly accepts EBT at nearly every store location. Contact your nearest Papa Murphy's for details. The whole thing is a fucking dodge to sell pizza to the FSA. |
