Is this how you would treat a returning vet that was blown up by an IED, with a traumatic brain injury and severe burns if you were to meet them face to face? The men who served our country honorably and are no longer the same as when they left deserve respect and compassion, not scorn and ridicule. I'd be interested to hear how he came to look like that. I would hope if that was the result of injuries suffered in Iraq or Afghanistan the cop could get him some help rather than arresting him. Even if these injuries are not the result of wounds suffered in combat, he is still a human being, not a freak in a sideshow. Quoted:
