Brown was looking pretty solid, keeping great distance, working the legs and the body. Couldn't tell if he got lazy or cocky, but getting in tight like that was stupid.

I'm late and don't post much in this thread but I think Hendricks broke his left hand.
And I think Lewis has some sort of internal injury. Grabbing his mid section like that isnt natural. Dunno if it's a hernia, appendix, or what. |

About three strikes from the end of the fight Hendricks tucked and hid his left hand. He ran til the bell tucking it. In the walk out he tucked it and high fives right only. Look liked he declined an autograph because of the injury. Broken, hyperextended, dislocated, something.

I'm really torn on the co-main this weekend. This is absolutely the best of the best, high level MMA. But at the same time, it almost feels like killing off a contender. It doesn't help that the new UFC owners keep fucking around with this "interim title" bullshit.
Tony Ferguson absolutely paid his dues and is on a crazy win streak, especially in the LW division. Khabib is undefeated and just a special kind of talent. I can't wait to see it but because LW is so deep I don't know when/if we'll ever see the loser get another crack at the title. Either way. the main card is stacked. |
