My guy Jeff Duncan (3rd District SC) is GTG. I emailed him and asked WTF and here is a snippet from hie email back.
Because I believe evil occurs not because of too much freedom, but in spite of it, it would be misguided to restrict freedom. I am currently a cosponsor of H. Con. Res. 23 (Kelly-PA), along with 139 of my colleagues in the House. The resolution expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the President should not sign the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty if it reaches his desk. I will oppose any legislation restricting the Second Amendment Rights of our citizens that reaches the House floor. |
