Chelsea. They support and work hard to grow their American fan base. They came last year for a tour and are coming again next week. Usually its every other year or so. I went to a match in Dallas in 2010 and Florida last year.

Manchester United do buy a few players but they also have a great youth programme where they do bring UK talent forward. Their success is largely down to Alex Ferguson who is one of the most successful Managers in History and has helped mould the team to be the huge success they are. Do a little research on who owns the teams, and how much home grown talent there is.

When I "got into" EPL soccer a few years ago, I picked a London club because I figured I might get there to a match one day. Plus, I was a fan of Lampard, Drogba, and Terry. Admittedly, Abromavich is not easy to like. |
