Local hardware store has some of the S&W/M&P backpacks in stock. They have the mid-size "Interceptor" and the large "Magnum" packs. They want about $5 more than what MidwayUSA is charging so with local sales tax I'd probably spend less if I bought one here.

Trouble is, despite the "tacticool" design somehow they just don't impress me as being all that well constructed. The store also sells packs by The North Face which are really nice but I'd be spending something like $90-100.

That's a lot of money for a 3-day B.O.B.

Does anyone have one of these S&W packs? Are they worth the money, or can one get something better for less, or more pack for the same price?
