Talk about a step backwards....
North Haven, CT --(Ammoland.com)- O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc, America’s oldest family-owned and operated firearms manufacturer, has entered into a long-term agreement with the Robertson family and the hugely-popular Duck Commander franchise. Like going from BMW to a Kia. |

As long as they stick with the 500's thats ok with me. I'll stick with my 870 however. |
|
yeah. who would want reliable, affordable, american-made shotguns anyway?
|
|
lots of rabbits, dove, quail, turkey, pheasants, and yes ducks are killed by Mossberg shotguns every year so.. GOOD FOR THEM
|
|
Since they now make goofy TV shows and T Shirts at walmart moreso than
duck calls I'd say Mossberg is probably more their target customer than Benelli |

I wouldn't trade a benelli for a mossberg. Well, maybe I would if someone paid me enough.

Meh I doubt ol Phil will quit using that old browning humpback you always see him with in the Tv show.
I personally wouldn't give up my SBE2.. |
|
I wonder what he shot before the sponsorships started.
On second thought....no, I don't care. It simply doesn't matter. |

good for them
i hope they make ONE BILLION THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX DOLLARS |
|
I wonder if they will use their Brownings when no one is looking? |
|
you know for all the hate Mossberg gets here the two firearms I have owned from them have been nothing but reliable and well made

I think I remember seeing an old ad with him toting an A-5. I didn't go buy one. I don't mind these guys making bank off endorsements, I just am sad that there are people stupid enough to go buy products because they saw some hairy guy using it on TV, like the ducks care whether they're shot with an 870 or 500 or 835 or a high-end over/under..... Speaking of which, what in the world is a 'deer thug'? The local gun trader pages I watch have a 'deer thug' edition rifle on sale at least once per week. What's up with that? Who are we targeting hunting shows to now? Inner city kids? Gangsters? |

Then again, this is Mossberg we are talkin about here Tang safeties and pistol grips for everyone!!!!!!!!! |

At the last three gun match that I shot abysmally at I couldn't figure how to reload my stupid benelli on the run (among also shooting like shit, running out of ammo and generally being a dumbass) should have brought my 590

jase used what looked like an older browning a5 (I think), i doubt they actually use the benelli's as much as benelli would like

Mossberg is garbage. The only pump guns i've seen with issues in the field.
This is from someone who hunts waterfowl for a living, between 60-100 days a year. |
|

I've dropped plenty of waterfowl and clays with old Mossberg 9200.

I agree. Mossberg semis break constantly too. If you hunt waterfowl alot, there are three choices for semis; Beretta, Benelli, or Browning. Everything else will break.

Rich SOBs. Next they'll take Tebow and Jesus Christ hunting with them. And for the damn money!!
|
|
Mossberg and the Robertsons will make money, I say good. But then again I don't hate rich people, capitalism or America.
As for me, I'll stick with my 870. It's never let me down by malfunctioning and the ducks are just as dead....and tasty. |

Several turkeys and a lot of rabbits and squirrels have fallen to my 500. While not as pricey or probably as refined, Mossberg makes an inexpensive and reliable shotgun.
