Mornin' Mouse.

JC, I can't imagine having grown up without riding a horse. It was just a part of life here.
Hell, I've even rode a mule.

Morning one and all.

Worked on my patchbox release mechanism on Fri-Sat.  I need to install the catch spring but want to thin it out a bit more first.  Then I need to notch the catch on the patchbox lid so it will be caught and held by the catch spring.  Last I need to make the toe plate, inlet it and then drill the hole and adjust the length of the release button.  Life is good.

Both days full of house chores & cleaning; must have caught the bug from Hooligan, lol.

Going to finish a load of laundry, shower then relax rest of the day for NFL & Nascar race.

Looking down my road, peak leaf season has come & gone.  Leaves are down all over, will reach 55 or so degrees today.

Have a restful Sunday Sa/oU, hugs from this quiet corner of the country.

Damn that's beautiful. If I didn't have a daughter, and they'd pay me what I make here I'd consider moving to Maine in a heartbeat!

Beautiful pic.  The leaves aren't doing much here.  Some turned a few weeks back but a lot of them are just turning brown.  Maybe it was the rain, they say the dryer the better for colors.

It was 80 here today so I gave the dog a bath while I had the chance.  My daughter helped me fix a few things around the house and that's been about it.

Well it works. I just left it on the counter. Counted 3 2 1 then flipped the switch and flipped the dogs out too.
It seems to run off the wavelength of it's power supply. The battery charger seems to have a rather long one.
So it gives out a long base note that rattled the walls and everything else in the house. Dogs came unglued.
Same with my fillings. I need to figure out how to vary the pitch. But Jeebus that was a earth moving experience,
Sucker ran off across the counter. So I had to grab it rather than shut it off. It's more like a pa speaker.
I thought you just supplied power and it would give off the tone. I need to do more research.
Let's just say I'm not popular with my daughter or the dogs. But I am on a mission.

A P.A. speaker and a mission?  That shtick was tried in Philadelphia decades ago. It didn't go so well.

Good evening everyone. Hope you all had a fine day.
We have a "A" audit coming up so they kept me in to go through files.
I thought it would never end. Pitching old stuff and sorting things out.
I got off at eight hours which was early for me. Just seemed like ten.

My daughter washed the dogs this weekend. I told her to put up the hose so Isis wouldn't eat it.
She did that. I came home to shredded towels all over the yard though.
Shelby runs up with a 6" strip of one to show me.

Today only three free dogs.

M1, battery chargers are notoriously bad power supplies for electronic devices. Have you tried connecting it directly to a battery?

I was wondering about that. Wires aren't that heavy so current demand shouldn't be that much.
I'm thinking of soldering on some nice long leads and the switch has a 30 amp breaker.
Pretty sure when I hook it up.  Meltdown shouldn't be a option. Might try it at work during lunch.
What's the worst that could happen?

Wait wtf did I miss here? I installed alarm systems as my first job out of the Army, up to and including siren alerts for entire rural neighborhoods to be able to hear and respond accordingly. So what are we doing here?!?!

I gotcha. To get a good, loud, clean siren sound, a siren driver is what you seek.  Not gonna try to hot link on my phone, but you get the general idea. Power supply comes into it, audio wires come out. Some are way more fancy then others.
