Lol my miniature does that too! Sometimes I'll hold him an inch or two off the ground so he starts running. I'll have to get some pics of mine posted up here, great thread! |

My dachshunds are puzzling me again. Every bone I've gotten them they pick one side of it and gnaw it down and leave the other untouched. It's not costing me much to replace the half chewed bones but I can't figure out why they do it.

She had this lump on her hind foot that they thought was where she injured her foot while playing frisbee in the back yard. We tried antibiotics but it didn't go away, so they did surgery on it. She was pretty unhappy about that bandage and even less so about the fact she'd been at the vet. |

Sadly both of mine have passed away. My male was probably my favorite dog. He just had personality.

My last Dachshund was 17 days shy of her 20th birthday when we had to put her down. She kept going strong up until about the last 3 months of her life. |

Usually they have at least two, and sometimes they are well into dachshund hoarding mode. |

Visiting her house was like stepping into a Disney movie. She had NINE at one time. Every one of them insane. |
