I sent her the link to this thread and asked her if she'd been doing some cougar modelling and had failed to mention it. She has a sense of humour, which I don't really appreciate sometimes - her response was "well, yes, but I usually don't have a shirt on, so that's not me."

And yes, I'm very much used to it. Middle school through college was an absolute PITA. Never knew if my friends wanted to come over to hang out or if they actually thought they had some 0.00001% chance of banging my mom. I heard every "motherfucker" joke imaginable.
