If this was 20 years ago, considering the Boston location and the reported third bomb at the JFK Library, I would wonder if this was connected to IRA or anti-IRA activities in Northern Ireland. Today though I'm not aware of any active bombing or terror campaign by either side and my understanding is the peace process there is generally working. There's still shootings and bombings but they're very rare. Nothing that would warrant this. Nothing has happened recently either that would provoke this, to my knowledge. |

The old church is actually on a corner, and it's kitty corner to another old church, a famous Methodist church. There is a park in front of the Methodist church and a big hotel across the street from the park. I stayed at that hotel when I went o Boston several years ago. The 9/11 hijackers stayed at the hotel next odor to it. I have pictures of that old church where the second bombing took place. The old church is on the same side of the street that the bombs went off......just further down. I know exactly where it is too, we walked Boylston street and right by that church multiple times a day when I was in Boston last March.

All the trash cans had lids bolted on to them. So they just got trash piled on top and around them. When I got off my plane I couldn't leave the gate area due to an unattended bag in the main terminal. |
