Okay, I know how most of us feel about BHO.

Put the partisan socialist asshole policies he is in favor of aside.

Do you think if NK nuclear attacked us for example, would he do what was necessary to prevent deaths?

Is he evil?

He'd try his best, I'm sure. I don't think he really knows what the fuck he's doing, which is why he's got all the czars running the show while he plays golf and takes vacation. His best is liable to be indistinguishable from what you'd get if you grabbed some random hobo at the bus station and put him in the Oval Office after a nuclear attack.

he would spend a week gathering all the facts, he would consider his options for a week, he would dither for another week, he would ask the ChiComs to intercede and wait another week to hear the NORKs response, he would send Kerry to the UN Security Council to complain, another week, but in the end he would hitch his pants up, go forth and appologize to the NORKS in the name of the US to assuage our guilt.

No, At best He truly believes Keynesian economics will work, and probably thinks that what he is doing will help the country.

He will do and say things that he thinks the majority of his constituency want to hear while he is engineering deals to personally benefit himself the most economically and politically.

He also probably thinks Roosevelt was the greatest president and wants to have his name on the same scale of social programs.

Many of his views are completely at odds with what I think should be happening in the country and I think he is fraught with naive ignorance as opposed to malicious intent.

I think his actions will lead us toward failed nation status, but again I don't think it is deliberate, I think it is a combination of ignorance and arrogance that will shoot us in the face like welfare bukkake.

I think he will respond with as little force as he can get away with- maybe some cruise missiles drone strikes to show he means business, he will allow a problem to fester and keep it from boiling over until it is a bigger problem for the next president, possibly a republican that will take the blame for the results of his indecisive foreign policy.

I'm not as rabidly anti-Obama as some people may be. As much as I may disagree with many of his policies, I don't believe him to be the islamic-communist-antichrist that some people seem to think he is.

I just go with whatever is the best predictor of behavior. Anti constistution, wealth transfer, anti traditional allies.

Understand this is a honorary Chair of the Democratic Socialist Party of America .
The DSP came out supporting BHO for the 08 election prior to his nomination by the Democrats and their next words were "Our time has come." I'm not sure capitalization of the Our was meant when they said it as it may have been part of the same sentence.

Barack Obama honestly has no idea that all his proposals are going to fail and his presidency is a complete catastrophe. I'm reasonably sure that he thinks that this is only temporary pain that we'll just spend our way out of, because that's exactly what worked every other time he faced a problem in Chicago! This also explains why Chicago has the problems it does.

The Socialist/Liberal mind doesn't work on a basis of rationality. The position that any money you get from work is yours is totally alien to them. They believe that all money comes from government and you should only get what the government allows you to keep... After taxes paid, of course.

So while I think that he very well *IS* doing irreparable damage to our struggling country, I don't think that that is his intention.

I remember that bombing. A buddy of mine was in an airport when they showed the baby formula factory on the news. There was a chemical engineer sitting near him that wasn't even connected with DoD. He pointed out the precursor chamber and mentioned there was no need for precursor chamber for baby formula. IIRC that was under Clinton. Must have been GW Bush's fault I'm sure.
