A bunch of battle packs of brass-cased, non-corrosive FMJ 7.62x39 "Mystery Ammo" that came on the market around 2005. I believe the consensus now is that this ammo was manufactured in Iran and found its way to Bosnia, only to find its way to our shores after the conflict there settled down. It was originally sold as "Portuguese" 7.62x39.
Excellent quality stuff. Wish I bought more...

I have a bunch of stuff. I inherited a lot from my grandfather when he died. He had a collection that would make most of you have an orgasm, followed by a stroke. I'll have to take some pictures one of these days.

Soviet 7.62x54r T-46 green tracers.
Quoted: Quoted: What I was told was "urban" 7.62x54r that wouldn't go through walls. Very light bullet weight, rounded nose; white tip, IIRC. Don't know the real story on it. I've also read it's training ammo. Steel case, laquered, sort of a gray/green color? The Czechs made that as low cost, low recoil training ammo. Most of the projectile is wood, as I recall. It's a 46gr plastic core. It was available ten or so years ago. I loved shooting the stuff. Now I only have a two boxes left. |

300 Savage.....never had one, don't plan on getting one, don't know where in the hell it came from. This also happens with motorcycle parts. You end up with parts to bikes you've never owned. |
