Is there enough ammo in gun owners possession to defend the constitution as the founding fathers intended? If only they had mentioned bearing surface to air missiles to keep the fuhrer from droning out the rights of a free state.

We will run out of ammo quickly and then we will have to fight with swords and black powder rifles. Militias have some ammo horded but it may be tough to get too.
|
|
I'll be dead before I run out of ammo and I don't have that much.
|
|
A well diversed collection of arms is fully capable of a enemy funded resupply.
|
|
Either we will take ammo from those we defeat, or we will be defeated ourselves very quickly. Guerrilla fighters rely heavily on capturing enemy equipment/arms/supply.

Really; think about it for a second: If the people decide to unite, the government would be fundamentally changed overnight with very few if ANY shots even taken. A couple thousand police and soldiers simply can't kill damn near 200 million people. The best fight is a bloodless fight. Everyone says "You are fired. Pack your shit and GIT." That's all. Everyone quits doing their daily routine, and the whole train stops. We throw the rifraf off, and the train starts again. Look to how few died in flipping over Egypt. A country with a lot of land, but most of it is not really usable. The population centers saw full tilt protests, and yes, some violence. But in reality???? That's a pretty bloodless turnover of a country. Was it done right? Did it really meet its' objectives? Maybe not. But let's not fool ourselves into thinking that if the United States flips on its' head that things will be peachy-keen in 72 hrs. There would be a lot of issues to sort out. Most of which will simply not require ammo to solve. |

Lets see, THEY drop their weapons when WE gun em down, then we take their guns and get the edge

If the SHTF any time more than 10 people get together more than once you will be a terrorist cell.

Imagine 100,000,000 Chris Dorners running around...
ETA: Gosh...what a horrible thought...

Take the ammo off those you defeat, but be careful about easy pickings....

I fear we will suffocate before the realization that a clear bag (as seen by the majority)of tyranny is slipped over our heads.

we have more in our personal possession than our forefathers, however is it enough?
|
|
Sorry, but I doubt no more than maybe one in five hundred would revolt. At least not over gun ownership.

How do we voice the truths in a way that Americans will recognize. Freedom is missed most when taken away then it is to late.

First we decide to change the world.
Then we tell everyone exactly how we are going to do it Then they all join in And then we tell them all exactly how to go about so there will never be injustice ever again. The World According To Monty Python Thank me later. |

He will tell you how resupply will work. |

I'm sure Ahmed the the Syrian FSA had FALs and AKs in his closet with 10000 rounds. They did not have shit before their war started.

Some one had a sig line that said "if you don't full auto weapons on the first day of the revolution, you will have them on the second".

Well, Okay- you got me. I'll head on over, and turn my shit in tomorrow morning. You DO realize that in Iraqistan, we expend about 250,000 bullets for EVERY confirmed kill, right? Yeah, 250,000 per. So think about that for a bit. |
|
I don't think we will fight. Laws will pass.Laws will be followed. America falls into place. I really hope this is wrong.

I heard somewhere that about 50% of the full auto weapons in the US belong to the government, the other 50% are privately held. A guy with an AR, some web gear, mags, and say an ammo can full of ammo is pretty well armed compared to a lot of the people fighting wars right now. |

Without any organization and with the hoarding "look out for number 1 and screw the rest" mentality of most preppers, all the government will need are a couple of SWAT teams to go door to door. Everyone will be too busy locked up in their own homes by themselves protecting their personal stash from everyone else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKMNPQ35OUc |

make sure if you want a resupply on ammo from fallen enemys that you buy weapons that shoot the same caliber as your enemies....any exotic weapon will serve no purpose in battle because you will likely be out of ammo by day 2....exotic weapons are a waste in shtf

You saw the havoc one rouge ex-cop did, he practically shut down the greater L.A. area.
