That warning is old information and has been put out for years. Was recently brought to light with the photo of the President and staff watching the Osama raid and newspaper decided to photoshop out the women in the photo.

I'd love to hear that the White House gets deluged with tens of thousands of photoshops mailed to them. And in my opinion, if he's shooting skeet, he sure is hitting them pretty low (like they're stacked on a step ladder).

My son's scout patrol went to tour the Supreme Court, hear oral arguments, take a tour of the library (very cool; one of the kids' mothers works there and got us in), and we got a half hour with one of the Associate Justices (won't say who, but he was very nice and gracious as could be). We gave him a neckerchief that he held up for a photo-op with the boys.
The picture was taken by a SCOTUS photographer who sent it to us electronically with the same disclaimer: personal use, no posting online, blah, blah, blah. However, as you say, it is a government work, and I don't think they could do anything about it except to scold you if you used it. Cool story, eh, bro? |
