The simple solution is to not buy ammo right now.
... Shit has gotten so expensive that I'm reluctant to even shoot .22 LR |

I've got some, but feel that I need more with the current situation. I was at a show a week ago and overheard someone say "people aren't spending $3000 for EBR's just to give them back to the govt"
Thought that was an interesting insight ![]() |

$.80/rd .223 at the LGS whose prices are always retarded. Unfortunately they have employees buy out the local Walmart and they resell it at a much higher price.

About 2 1/2 weeks ago I bought 2 100 Round Box's of Federal 223 at Wal-Mart for $35,and then it's been gone ever since. Then a little over a Week ago my LGS had PMC X-Tac 55gr for $22 a Box.I haven't been back there. And W-M hasn't had anything that I've found, but it could get sold as quick as they get it.

I just cleaned about 5 k .223 brass, only to realize I have about 600 small rifle primers, and none can be found anywhere.
and I still have several large containers of brass to sort through and clean. the good news is I have plenty of brass the bad news is I'm short on the components required to make them go bang. |
