How many of those were gang violence with illegally owned firearms? probably the vast majority. Heck Chicago and Detroit probably account for a lot of these.
How many of those were lawful self-defense? probably one of two a day but he considers this bad. How many were suicides? too many but they would have used another tool if a gun weren't available. How many were murders using a lawfully owned firearms? this is the number we should be talking about, I bet it is a very small number. |

My wife works in a major trauma center where the thugs end up. She told me the other day that since ammo got scarce, shootings are down, and stabbings are way up.

Looking at the FBI 2011 stats, there were 8,583 homicides involving firearms of all types. Divide that number by 12, you get about 715. Historically speaking, The Anointed One's numbers are a little high. |
