THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT The hospital receptionist who was hoaxed by a prank call from a DJ claiming to be the queen asking about Kate Middleton has been found dead.
"It is with very deep sadness that we confirm the tragic death of a member of our nursing staff," the hospital said in a statement released today. The nurse was identified as Jacintha Saldanha. The hospital said that Saldanha worked at the hospital for more than four years. They called her an "first-class nurse" and "a well-respected and popular member of the staff." Sad really. |

On one hand, yes she made a mistake putting the call through. On the other hand, would you really want to be the one that tells the Queen "no, I will not put you through to Kate?"
She made her choice to commit suicide, but I hope those DJs realize they directly contributed to this. |

I'm going to go against the grain and say, why the fuck do I care? She chose to take her own life (if that is indeed true). Nuff said.
She got pranked and couldn't handle it. I don't want someone with that thin of skin on my nursing staff. As a matter of fact, I don't want someone thin skinned like that coming near my health in any way. |

These radio DJ's are going to be villanized, but it's not their fault this lady had mental issues. People get pranked everyday on radio shows and don't commit suicide. It's a sad situation for her family and friends, but the blame lies with her and her alone if everything is being reported accurately.
