I heard that it was going to be a $399 AR. Of course, I wouldn't want to start any rumors. The $399 is also rumored to come with 2 extra clips. Are they P clips? I heard the polymer is the way to go. |

Don't remember who but our local WM had an AR by a maker I had never heard of. I had never heard this maker (can't for the life of me remember who) ever, ever mentioned here. It's possible. If Obama wins next week......can you imagine the line at WM for this if it happens? Windham? |

Well, I heard that they are going to be offering IHC M1 rifles that were found in a cave in the Middle East for $299.99. And you do get extra clips!
I could see Ilion NY Bush-ingtons being shoveled out at that price point
It might be the walking dead edition M4 with no rear sight.
plastic Bushy probably , meh, would still be overpriced at 399.

Look for them in the industry forums. |

No way its a colt. I'm going with S&W sport. And I'm sure each store that has guns will have one or two of them.

How is that going to work? Background check offices are NOT going to be open at 5am or whenever it is that people start trampling over each other for crap. NICS Background check is open over the phone and online 24/7. I worked a Black Friday sale last year and sold guns from the moment the doors opened until I got off 12 hours later. Plus CCW gets you a pass in Texas. |
God forbid walmart set a new standard in barebones ar prices, the over priced eye gouging retailers are gonna have to bring there prices down and dig into their eye gouging profits.

I doubt Walmart wants to deal with that.
How many people are getting mugged in the parking lot for that AR?

They do sell a sig m400 with 3x scope for 900. The dpms sportical is only 600 right now.

Clip They can call it a banana clip assault rifle, but for $500 I'll buy it. |

So.... The assholes would only have 4 at each store and 1 person working the counter. NOT worth 2-3 hundred to me.

Maybe, legit. Could be a S&W 15-22 or Sport. I'll fight the crowds for that. I think the S&W 15-22 is already 499 at Walmart |

well Im not sure about anything but there are currently 4 black Sig M400's being held(per corporate) for something coming up and I have have heard talk of a saturday after black friday firearms specials dont know if the two are related.
info should be slipping out pretty soon though also no way in hell the sigs will be $500 |
One example is here in Wyoming. With your CC permit, you walk in, show your permit, pay, and walk out five minutes later. No phone call, or anything.

I suppose I the wife and I could fight our way into electronics after procuring a couple 499 AR's and commandeering a 420 round box of .223, hell they even throw in an extra clip? That's 4 total.... I'm pretty sure two mag dumps and a couple intermittent blasts from the free clips would clear out the laptop line.... may have to reload clips and hit the TV line in a L shaped ambush though...
WOLVER... eh.... CONSUMERS!!!!!! |
My bet would be on the sportical DPMS, like others said it's already at $599. My girlfriend works at walmart though so I've got her checking on it. I've been tempted on the sportical DPMS anyway, because with her discount, out the door it would be $556 to me. Somewhat tempting, just to put up another AR for the fun of it.

If Obama wins won't matter, will be out of stock regardless of price.
Wow, for a decent brand I could be in on that too. Not like I need another AR, but at that price...

They sell a .22 cal ar15 for that price now and is what you are referring to.. 223 is also 22 cal |

Gander Mountain has 1000 rounds of black box AE223 and an ammo can for $299
At that price point, you could afford to throw it down the driveway for that battle worn look.
Just have a pallet of WWB. The hell with guns. Every time I go they are out. Did see a pallet of candy and other crap though...
