For $2000.00
Holy shit. I can't believe it. |
|
I think there's a 3-day return policy for all in-home sales but I'm not sure if this is a parody thread of some sort :)
|
|
Congrats to the salesman! He can buy a new gun with the commission

I can't believe it. take it back, get it off ebay, mine was nib, with all the goodies, rug 911 x3 (or whatever they called it) , extra bags and belts; a little under $800 Edit (I would have not done it, but she told me about my 1000 dollar guns, she wanted a frickin vacuum) |

Not going to be any pics. Stay focused.
She bought a $2000.00 vacuum. |

I'd really like to own a Kirby vacuum but their business model flat sucks.
The guy I let shampoo my family room started out at $4K and was down to $1200 on his way out the door. |
|
In my expert opinion, she overpaid slightly.
Take it back asap. If they don't want to take it back, dispute the CC charge. She DID pay with a CC, right? Then have a discussion with the wife about anyone making large purchases without clearing it with the spousal unit first. |

My wife bought one at a thrift store, like new with all atachments, for $125.

In on 1
... and before OP starts posting pics of the $2k worth of firearms he picked up while the wife was grocery shopping. |

Look it up on EBAY and show your wife how much she could have paid! Then get your money back.
|
|
Look on the sales contract and you should find contact information to have it returned.
|
|
During the discussion she said didn't you just buy a rifle and optic for $1600.00 or so?
Shit. |
|
A Dyson vacuum is 1500.00 less and 10x the sweeper. Your wife failed, make her get back to the kitchen.
|
|
Holy shit, that's like full markup.
I think dealer invoice is like $700 or so...and the salesperson (depending on seniority) has a cost of like $1000-1100...so you can usually talk them down a good bit. That being said, it's been a long time since I sold those things, so invoice could have changed. At least you own the best vacuum on the market. |
|
Return it.
If she thought it was great you can buy a slightly used one with all the attachments on ebay for about $300.

I don't know anything about kirby vacuums, but Rainbow vacuums are damn good. Mine has lasted for over 15 years, others just don't suck as hard...

Damn! My wife wont spend over 100 dollars without discussing it with me first.

If you want, tell me when you're out, I can black top your driveway for $500.
(I know, jokes probably are not appreciated at this juncture.) |

My friend used to sell those in college. He made a living off of them.

If she uses it, it's the only vaccume that you'll need. Ever.
My wife is hell on Vaccumes, and she'll but a new one about twice a year. She bitches about cheap parts, etc. The Kirby is a fucking TANK. I WISH I'd've bought a Kirby when we got married. |
