Surely, she disclosed that he had attended her wedding and that her former husband had a political appointment by Mr. Obama. If there is a problem, it was caused by the Republican camp who, understanding her background and her disclosures, have no problem with her being a moderator. You have to understand that the Republican camp knew all this and will use it only if Ryan doesn't do well in the debate.

Obama appoints the ex-husband to FCC? I see no problem here as long as the moderator gives a public announcement at the beginning of the debate stating that Obama attended her wedding in the past. Full disclosure and all that. I see commentators on news shows making those announcements frequently. She will do the right thing.
