THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Sorry for the shitty pic, it's the only one I have. The handles are attached to threaded rod. Looks like it centers something then the gig in the middle does something else.

I think it's an old 90° clamp for furniture making. It's shaped like that so you can hang the parts up while the glue dries off the ground.

The upright center part is a saw guide so the miter cuts in the trim will match perfectly when assembled.
