Not a fan of the MD. Fucking enemy territory. Any state I can't peaceably and legally drive through with my Glock strapped on my hip is a yankee state. Makes trips to PA very interesting and filled with joy.

I figured 50. Learn something new every day. Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, and South Dakota are the south now? Were any of them states before 1865? They are honorary Southern states. They vote Red and have good gun laws, IIRC. South Dakota is most certainly not an honorary southern state. |

I said "No, I was just speaking". Her demeanor changed and she said "Oh hi" and walked away. I looked at her car. Maryland tags. Yankees. Try to relax Yankees. Everything is OK. Check your geography, MD is south of the Mason Dixon line. You East of the Rockies people are all the same to me. ![]() |

Check your geography, MD is south of the Mason Dixon line. Do not pretend for a second that Maryland is a Southern state, it might have been 100 years ago but years of migration from DC and points North has reduced any Southern tendencies to isolated islands in a sea of Yankee sameness. And yes I recognize the same is true from Ocala south in Florida. What are we supposed to do with all this tobacco and all these negroes? We grow watermelons here and fried chicken is the state dish. Not The South, my ass. You can lay that shit on Pennsylvania if you please but Maryland is in the south. |
