THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT No condiments/seasonings/butter/salt/etc will be allowed except fresh ground pepper and possibly lemon pepper to season chicken with. Each item can only have one ingredient, no preservatives, etc. For example, chicken breast, corn, strawberries, etc. Target daily caloric intake is 1675, but I typically have two whey protein shakes a day that consumes 300 calories, leaving 1375 left to make up in fresh food. Looking for recipes, advice, etc. I need to bring my breakfast and lunch to work with me, which will be made the night before and can be stored in a fridge. So far I am thinking... Chicken green beans strawberries bananas white corn baked potatoes Steak Avocado Peppers Any tips on making guacamole from scratch like this? |

guac is easy, you simply pound the pulp into paste, add lime juice and salt to taste.
the more lime juice, the longer it keeps (and better it tastes, IMO) |

Other food options: 末 cottage cheese 末 yogurt 末 fresh fruit (pineapples, melons, berries, apples, oranges, kiwi, etc) 末 hard boiled eggs 末 salads (lettuce, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, etc). You can use a fresh squeezed lemon and a little pepper for the dressing. Edit: The cottage cheese and yogurt might not qualify for the one ingredient rule. |

I started doing something very similar last Saturday. Got on the scale Wednesday morning and was down 7lbs! Was expecting 3-4lbs.
Looking forward to getting on the scale again Saturday morning. |

Make up some omlettes. You can put just about anything in them and can reheat them at work for a meal.

My wife is on a 'whole' food kick lately...to be honest....for about a month I've stuck to mostly vegetable stuff and very little dairy...and I do actually feel good. I still need my fatty stuff once in a while, and I do need my protein, it I have cut back significantly on meat and cheese, and I'm not missing it....yet.
Of course...as I type this I can just envision that sweet, fatty part of a well grilled prime rib |

Big bowl of old fashion Oat meal with some fresh fruit in it to sweeten up.
Keep me full till lunch. I would nuke it with water & then to cool it down pour 1% milk & fresh fruit . |
