THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Spike TV's 2 1/2-minute video clip shows Steven Ray Milam in a red BMW, leading officers on a chase westbound on Interstate 10. He swerves into the median to avoid tire spikes, and then Byrd approaches him in an unmarked vehicle.

Mike Byrd is a good sheriff. I live/work in his county. The day this happened I had just left work at Chevron and his deputies were at Fishermans Corner ( the beer shop) telling us the what's what. It was cool.

Definitely a crazy shot...I guess when youre the Sheriff you can do that stuff. If we tried that at our agency Id be applying at that Sheriffs Office very soon..
