THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT On top of that there was a fire after a MegaBus blew a tire in SC, a woman getting hit by a MegaBus in Chicago and the accident last week in downstate IL. http://www.wgntv.com/news/wgntv-megabus-from-chicago-crashes-into-i55-overpass-20120802,0,704708.story So has anyone here actually ridden on one of those buses? |

Almost every day I get shuttled to work in one. The thought of a major crash is always in the back of my head. I know it can happen in my own car too. But there is just something about not being in control that makes me feel weird.

They're just the lightning rod of the "chinatown bus" scene.
I've gone Philly to NYC and back on 'em, and a few other places. Never had any problem and the price was always ridiculously cheap. |

One of them just burned to the ground and shut down I-85 a few miles from here.
Just read the 1st article, that actually happened in N GA a few miles from SC. |

There is a line 50 deep waiting on the megabus here all the time.
There should be a train to Penn State. |

![]() That film has the best Wikipedia summary ever: Back on the road, Cyclops finally makes its way to Denver. In the
final scene, the bus is only 25 miles outside of Denver when the front
and rear halves of the bus split from each other. It is unknown why and
how the front and rear halves split from each other. |

A good friend of mine rides one darn near every weekend from Pgh to Dc. She loves it.
My cousin rides one to NY from Pgh at least once a month. He says for $15 it's worth it. |

Used to MegaBus DC to NYC a lot.

I went from Baltimore (White Marsh) to NYC and back. I missed my original bus because I had a case of the herp derp and went to the wrong location. I grabbed the next one two hours later and didn't have any trouble after that.
If you live in the North East and need to travel between cities Megabus isn't a bad way to go. I got a bunch of DC area friends that use it more than I do for going from DC to Baltimore/Philly/NYC/Boston. |

My brother says it is a lot of fun, especially if you go with a group. I don't understand how they make any money with those prices. (Smuggling drugs?)
