Do you like things that don't cost you a cent? Do you like seeing deserving charities such as Wounded Warrior and Seats for Soldiers receive large donations? How about getting a chance to win free stuff over and over again? Well this is your chance to do some good and maybe get a bunch of swag. FOLLOW THIS LINK Fill in your info and BE SURE TO ENTER REFERAL CODE:BADBOY2MY2F Here's why: The code will show referrals that came from a friend of mine, if he wins the "referral race" on Aug 31 and wins the Grand Prize he has pledged a $3000 donation to Wounded Warrior. This is a guy who does what he says and is involved in several charitable .orgs which cater to sick kids and Vets. If he wins, I will post the proof here. Individual is not an ARFcommer, but his brother is and many of you are familiar with him. He may even chime in here. **Again, this does not cost you anything, you can enter once per day, more entries does mean more chance. Your only cost is <2mins time. You can even sign up wives/GFs/whoever. Remember it is imperative that the above referral code is used. Thanks! |

Bump...
This is my brother who is doing this, you can win your own prizes through the initial drawing whether he wins the referral contest or not. I can vouch for this. |

However, there are probably a few things I could share that'll help you understand a little better and maybe have a slightly different take on it. If not, thanks for your time in reading this anyway. I occasionally browse through the board and enjoy the discussions, but haven't had enough to really comment about to bother signing up –– despite my brother's insistence. I generally donate anywhere between 100-120 hours a year planning and executing charity events. Add in the time my 11 year old daughter spends in helping me out and it's easily pushing 200 hours a year. Most of these events are for Hunt Of A Lifetime (sending terminally ill kids and wounded veterans on their dream hunts) and the Wounded Warrior program. On January 1st of this year, I raised over $3600 for Hunt Of A Lifetime by auctioning off a Brett Keisel-autographed football and allowing the folks running the charity to shave my Keisel-like beard as well as the rest of my head in the freezing Allegheny River. In May, I was a part of a charity that raised an additional $90,000 to give to Hunt Of A Lifetime. Last year we raised $40,000, etc etc etc. On the work end of things, I develop advanced military ground systems and am responsible for a huge portion of the MRAP Capabilities Insertion Effort, working with our fighting men and women every day to make sure the solutions we develop are exactly on point for what they need in the battlefield. I'm their voice in the development community, and as such have suffered the loss of not only colleagues but close friends over the past decade of fighting (as many have). In addition to the time I put towards these charities and the work I do for a living, I have averaged $4,800 a year in personal donations to them over the past 5 years. For this one (the first one that has EVER had any kind of a possible prize in return), I'm actually pledging a donation of $3,000 to WW and an additional $3,000 to the charity of the winner's choice after I have a drawing comprised of those that used the code if we end up with the most referrals. As usp4u said, evidence of that will be posted on here in whatever form makes everyone comfortable if necessary. Sure, I'm a gun owner and avid shooter, but angering an entire community of AR15 enthusiasts isn't exactly on my short list of good ideas. At any rate, thanks for reading this, and if you feel so inclined as to help get us to the top of the referrals list, it'd be greatly appreciated. - Scott .. |
