THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Okay, so I'm anal, but don't you just instinctively keep to the right when you're in a flow of people? I mean, isn't that just ingrained into your head so much that it's a natural tendency? No, this isn't a huge issue and it's not life-changing, but it does annoy me a little and it makes me curious. Anyone else, or is it just me? |

In before some Brit starts complaining about people not walking on the left.
I'm with OP BTW. Keep to the right. |

Like Walmart, their separate entrances/exits are based on the exit being closest to the cash registers. That makes sense and is blatantly posted, but obviously fucks with people that naturally keep to the right. |

I always figured they were british tourists since most of them needed dental work...badly.

I walk rather quickly.
I usually end up looking like a running back threading my way down field as I zigzag my way through people.... |

I definitely walk on the right. It fucks me up every time I go to Walmart and remember that the entrance is on the LEFT, while the EXIT is on the right. I still have no fucking idea what French fuck came up with that idea.

I'm like you, walking on the right. When I flew to Australia and was walking around, malls, airports, etc, i kept running into people

I tend to walk in the middle, but if I try to get around someone. Majority of the time, I'll go to my left.

I'm the same way, drive on right, walk on right. Constantly giving the wife shit for her left hand door exiting and running into groups coming through the door she's trying to exit (wrong god damn door again honey)
It's stupid simple shit like this that really needs to be part of every day life for kids in school. Don't even get me started on the stupid fuckers that stand in front of the elevator doors when I'm getting out. |

If you're on the left... you ain't right
I have found that if you act like you dont see someone coming they will move right out of your way, and if they dont, its hard shoulder time. Unless its a large breasted good looking woman, in which case its fake trip into a quick motorboat time, followed with a fake apology ![]() |
