The Aiken County Coroner says one of the men believed to be involved
in the attempted burglary at Guns and Ammo Gunsmith in Belvedere is
dead. The Aiken County Coroner says 20-year-old K'Raven Goodwin of Eastover, SC died from multiple gunshot wounds. The other two people involved were sent to the hospital. There is no update on the condition of the other two. Kraven? There's a pun in there somewhere... |

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore — While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. "'Tis some visiter," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door — Only this and nothing more." |

The business owner, who reportedly lives in the rear of the business, reportedly heard the alarm and went to check on the store.
Investigators say, three people tried to rob the store on the 500 block of Highway 25, off Sterling Drive, shortly before 4 a.m.
The suspects drove their car into the building, waking the business owner up. The owner says the crash sounded like gunshots and he opened fire on the suspects. The victim says he saw silhouettes and fired shots. Investigators say all three suspects were shot. One stayed behind at the scene and two suspects fled to a Waffle House located West Martintown Road in North Augusta. Waffle House for a GSW, huh? Makes sense. |

Most of the stuff served there can be used as a form of Quick Clot...Including the coffee. As for the thieves, they did get away with one thing however. The bullets. I'm sure the owner used the same stuff he stocks. Charge the living ones with theft of the bullets as well. |

well, thats not gonna happen, at least the repayment part

I'm sure GA law allows deadly force under those conditions

Then the beating at my door became kicking yelling and more
I watched with great care for my family asleep in there
Then the kicking did increase and I thought it would not cease
the door hinges began to give way as I stepped back in silence and resolve
The door flew open, right in my face, I stood there poised in my place
I fired, a double tap with a 230 grain
he fell to the ground in tremendous pain
I looked down with horror at this terrible deed
as his still body, lying in my door, began to bleed
Saddened but yet happy, my family intact
I hug my children and my wife
