Less than 3 hours from Philly, Baltimore, DC, Pittsburgh, and most of NJ. The number of people that could be served by same day delivery under the terms above is well into the tens of millions - just from that one distribution center. I'm sure the distribution centers in other places are similarly placed. |

I bought my mom a big screen plasma TV last Christmas, that was PRIME eligible. Big heavy thing, they delivered it in a semi and it took two guys to carry it in. The price was considerably less than I found anywhere else, with free delivery ... win win. I noticed that they did away with the prime eligible thing on it a few days later.

I just bought a fishing rod and reel combo from Prime. It cost the same as what the reel itself would cost at Wal-Mart. It got delivered in an 18"x18"x4' box. I have no idea how anyone made money on that.

I bought a car rooftop cargo carrier, Prime eligible, and it was on my doorstep 2 days later.

Just ran a total out of curiosity... In the past 6 months with Amazon Prime I have spent just shy of 3 grand.

Keep that kind of shit up and they'll stop doing it and may fuck be upon you. Man up and pay for your own fucking membership! Did you miss the part where Amazon LETS you share shipping benefits with up to 4 additional accounts. I just learned about this today and shared benefits with my wife and mother. That way I don't have to give them my account access and I don't get an email every time they buy something. |

Technically, they have to live in the same household with you or be co-workers (business account) for it to be kosher with Amazon's terms of service. |

I normally would not have purchased a dryer online due to shipping costs but I had Prime and saved some money.
I like it. |
