Why are women so emotional?

Seriously... I have trouble understanding human emotions. I offend my wife a lot and I don't mean to. I try to analyze it but I can't understand the female thought process.

Any tips for making my wife not get offended? Any tips on how I can begin to understand the female thought process?

While I like someone who can dress up I don't care for the routinely fancy dresser. I'm a jeans and T-shirt girl, I feel odd spending time with a guy who dresses nicer than me on a regular basis.

Most women are! Of course what's a sharp dress man to one woman might be to another! Personally I like a perspective. My bf wore a tux to his daughter's wedding and I could hardly keep my hands off of him! but you know, he'd look a little foolish (albeit very handsome) wearing that everyday!




ah.....you see the answer lies in the details. Women are on average way more emotional than men. First we're allowed to be, where as most men (American men/some cultures....say like the Japanese men are way more emotional than I am!) are taught to hide their emotions or even deny them.

Now the trick is for women to learn to communicate with their husbands and for husbands to comprehend how their wife's emotions impact them. You need to talk about them (I know its more fun to stick screwdrivers in your eye sockets but you gotta do it) and you have to accept that not always do we women understand our emotions or how to fix our problem––-or if we even have a problem that needs fixed.

I know men are fixers, wife upset, why is wife upset? What did I do? What can I do....you need to accept that you won't always be able to fix it and your wife has to communicate her boundaries and needs to you. I've gotten pretty good with understanding my emotions and how to deal with them on my own. I can rationalize things which will typically set another woman off, but it takes practice and perseverance. I didn't get here over night.

So without any further information that's the best I can do besides saying rarely does, "I love you honey, you look beautiful, I think the world of you, would you like to go out for chocolate" make things worse. Very rarely.

Fetishes in my generation are a sign of weakness, so I would say rarely would I talk about them! However, I would say about 3 weeks into dating my current boyfriend he discovered my spot. We were not sexually involved at the time but I have a spot that is instant (if not sooner) turn on for me. Now keeping him out of my spot is a challenge!

I also have a few phobias, those came up in due time, I'd say about 3 months for one, six for the other.

I missed this question. I'm not 100% sure about all women but for most women I think we want to feel sexy, we hope we are sexy and we just really would like some male attention. Me? I would want to look sexy and would hope people wouldn't look for an adam's apple. 6'5" is a bit much.

Pretty far in for me. I am not a jump to share things kind of person and even less of a jump to trust person so it takes a long time - and plenty of reason for me trust someone enough to tell something so personal.
If you really need time frame I'd guesstimate it is probably several months.
