Around 4:30 pm CST there was heard by several people thunderous type sounds in the sky, followed by flashes of bright light. Then the sky was filled with millions of tiny UFOs that looked somewhat like drops of liquid. Some of the oldtimers seem to remember this happening before a long time back. They think it was referred to as rain, but local historians are still checking on it.
Still damn dry, and in need of a lot more, but I guess you take whatever you can get.

Never thought about that, it could have been alien piss. I think step 12 on the check list for a light speed run is to make sure you empty the crapper tanks.

We had 5 minutes of rain Wednesday.  It was the first time we had rain since mid June.   I rode the motorcycle into work yesterday.  So when another coworker pulled their mountain bike inside i rolled my cbr600rr inside so it would not get wet also. HEH.

This was straight south of Wichita on the KS-OK demilitarized zone. It has been an odd summer for storms in Kansas. Usually there will be a line of storms stretching across the state north to south. This summer it is spotty as hell, a storm will pop up out of nowhere and hit just a small area.

Damn global warming....
