Everything ended up being fully loaded. 2 or 3k cables overall. Every time I see it I think of this:





It's since been rewired and it's a lot less of a mess now.

I love me some classic cop cars. As civilian cars, they're complete shit. But for some reason (sharing nearly all of the same qualities that make their civilian versions...shit), the cop versions have a certain "cache" to them.

Maybe I've watched to many 70's "road" movies.

That first pic actually has some order to it, ugly as it is. It's kind of like "We want it to look nice and we want it to be easy to manage, but they won't buy us cable management. So, here's the best we've got, considering".

I started out as a LEO back in the 70's. Back then, my agency ran both, the Plymouth Fury and the Dodge Polara. In addition to the solid red "Beer can" lights, we also had a single red rotating "Gumdrop" light on top.......They were pretty awesome rides.

They still run the gumdrop lights in Michigan. It almost makes it worth it, when I get nailed for speeding (and have to pay cash money right then and there, to preserve the physical copy of my license).
