I was really excited to hear that verizon and motorola finally released android 4 for my RAZR maxx.

Then I find out that only "select users" get ICS today and that most users will "need to be patient in the coming days".

Fuck Motorola. Not really, but it is frustrating to get so excited and then be so let down.

Just wondering.. Being a total newbie with smartphones, how do you actually upgrade the software? download it on the phone or on the computer and then transfer it to the phone Brian

Verizon controls the OTA updates, not Motorola.

You will get a notification on your phone that an upgrade is ready. You just tap OK and the phone does the rest.
