Had some lightning tonight, never tried taking pictures of lightning, unfortunetly the storm was to our north so my views were limited. I then went out on our dock after the clouds passed by me an had a great oppertunity, but my camera was pointing too much to the right.

(Between the houses...)

Off the Dock looking North....

Blue bikes are faster.  One is 37 years old,  the other 2 months old.  Just got the sporty running again after it sat for 6 years.  One of 3 antique bikes I have.  The Salsa Fargo2 has just over 2000 miles on it in the 2 months I have had it.

Love those shots.

Did you have a really low white balance in the bottom shot?

It think that was a 20-30 second exposure with an ISO of 100, I forget the aperature setting though.

Hopefully more thunderstorms tonight before we leave...

But another good opportunity at photographing the ospreys presented itself...

Yes they do. I saw one carry a flounder that was probably legal size into a pine tree a few weeks ago.

I'm working on editing the photos now, but would love some help identifing a plane that has been overhead the last two days.  Pretty sure it is a P-47, but other than my favorite WWII aircraft I'm kind of clueless.

Will post photos after dinner.  Won't be my usual quality, but neat regardless.

Applied some intensity and magnification with Lightroom to last night's photo. Gives a different perspective.

It's just one big ass Himalayan salt slab that you warm up and cook on. It imparts a salty flavor. Tonight was my first time using it, I got it for father's day from my wife. I think it was $30.  I like it so far, gonna use it again. You just have to rinse it clean when  you're done.  It's pretty cool.

I still can't get that aircraft editied in any way I like.  Will probably just post the unedited RAW files for anyone that wants to poke at em.

The missus mentioned I should grab the photo below, and I don't think it turned out that bad.  Need more coffee in me though.
