At my college, the African students (as in, from Africa) were at the library as much as the Asian students.
I've done closings for two Sudanese immigrants and both of them had trouble scheduling the closings because they both worked two full time jobs. I can't even describe how happy both of them were to be able to own a home, something that would have been just a dream back in their own countries. One of them brought his teenage daughter to translate for him; she spoke English, French, and two dialects of Arabic. In my experience, African immigrants are some of the hardest working people I've ever known. I have heard from many others that this is the case, except in the case of Somali and Nigerian immigrants. |

"Normal" blacks are fine and usually are the first to move into a neighborhood. The people you get on the tail end of the migration (which can take place over decades) are usually the more criminally minded.
Of course the folks from the old hood like to visit. In my neighborhood that means watching girls from Detroit just off the SMART bus walking in the middle of the street when there are sidewalks (something done in parts of Detroit but not here). And the new resident's kids having their 6 foot tall bros out to the new hood to go trick or treating (after seeing four black guys that look like adult football players on my doorstep asking for candy... I decided to just give out the candy to the neighbor kids I know earlier in the day and pack it in). The problem is the ghetto minded black lower class. They have an absolutely amazing ability to completely destroy neighborhoods which just doesn't really exist among the white, hispanic, asian or arab lower class in this country. If I'm wrong please show me poor ethnic neighborhoods made up of those people with 75% of storefronts gone and the place consistently looking like a war happened there. |

The guy in the video is just confusing "minorities" with "low class individuals". He's not wrong that certain elements can move in and destroy a neighborhood but the key factor isn't race. White trash can ruin a neighborhood just as quick. He's upset about the same things that the rest of us are but he's digging for causes in the wrong places. There are plenty of minority folks out there who go to work every day and are house proud. It's terrible to lump them in with the trash.
It's not about race, it's about culture. We have a segment of our society which belongs to a trash culture that is completely self centered hence why they think nothing of lying, cheating, and stealing their way through life rather then making an honest living. They make kids and pass their trashy ways on to the next generation. I guess it's just easier to latch on to skin color though for some people.  |

I can think of at least one murder in my tiny town growing up where a group of feral white kids broke into some old guys house and beat him to death as a "thrill killing". They all came from...you guessed it...trashy white families! Blacks don't have a monopoly on crime or defective culture. You are correct though that nobody wants to talk about the sad state of minority culture and family life in our country. The problem is in addressing that issue without lumping in all the upstanding folks who just go to work each day. You can't blame some black guy who works 9 to 5 and pays his bills for groups urban yutes on the other side of town going around terrorizing their communities. It's a shitty situation all around. The Al Sharpton's of the world won't allow an honest discussion and the KKK members of the world don't want it either. One of the big things about Detroit for liberals is blaming white racism and white flight for the fall of Detroit.
The reality is that if white flight happened leaving a city to any other racial group than blacks it wouldn't have gone down the tubes the way it did. Even neighborhoods full of illegal aliens from south of the border don't end up like this. The illegal aliens themselves even have more stores and businesses than legal blacks!
