THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT That's right, THIRTEEN totally free one year memberships in The National Rifle Association. Not ten, or eleventy-five, or even 12.3456, but THIRTEEN free one year memberships. Post in this thread and convince me that I should buy you an annual membership. If you win, you get one. Act now and there's no shipping, no handling, just a free annual NRA membership that you can treasure for the REST OF YOUR LIFE! Why now? Because if everything goes right, the winners will get their membership materials just in time for Independence Day, and there's no better way to celebrate Independence Day than joining an organization with millions of members in it! (that's irony) Besides, the NRA is the big gorilla in the fight to keep and bear arms. And we get to shoot guns. Yowza! Rules are simple: Post in this thread to convince me that you should get a membership. Please don't send a pm; I want the whole thing above board and I have a little bronze account inbox. If you win, you will have to send me your real name and address so I can send you the membership. I understand if this is troublesome to some people, but I have to have this information for the memberships. The pms are erased after I'm done. No personal information is retained. I'd like to close the enrollment on Sunday, June 3rd, so I can get all the memberships out three weeks before July 4th. Meanwhile, have a great holiday. Thanks to all the veterans out there and God bless the men who gave their lives for this great nation.

Regardless of the banter promoted by some the NRA is doing more than any other organization to make sure we maintain the rights afforded us by the constitution. They are fighting the U.N...Liberal Media....state and local governments and the Brady foundation among others..The NRA is also taking a proactive approach to promote and embrace the new enthusiast being brought into our foal by promoting educational programs and working to portray our rights in a fair light....

Yes, the NRA does way more good for our cause than most. Well worth the price of admission, in this case free. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has never been a member to try it out. New shooters are encouraged especially female as the NRA has a lot of outstanding training programs for them.

I gotta be honest, I do want a lifetime membership badly. I will not be able to purchase one this year as money is tight and my 2 boys want to do a lot of camping / travel this year so it will have to wait. I figure spending time with them outdoors far out weighs my need for a lifetime membership besides I am a yearly member now. So if I do get the lifetime membership I would really be grateful as I don't see myself having the money in the next few years to purchase one. Also thank you OP for doing this its a great thing

HI :D Please pick me because I'm 21 and my savings account is my firearms? Can post a family picture in a little while if ya like. Gotta clean and have breakfast first, though, before I go to the gun show.
For all those who served... I thank you. And very generous of you to do stuff like that, man. |

Why not, I'm in. Thanks OP in advance.
Im stuck in a low paying job just because the benefits are decent enough to give my wife and 2 kids health insurance. Im too poor to buy a Sig P226 so I got a SP2022 . Id like to support an organization that is working to protect our 2A rights, but money is tighter than my bosses ass right now. My company is still riding out the bad economy excuse for giving raises etc... Not sure if bitching about my crappy life situation justifies being picked, I'll probably get flamed for this but why not |

I'll play! I received a membership from you once before. I haven't had the spare cash to re-up as my vehicle crapped out and I now have a car payment, among other things to deal with. I'm not working as much as I was before either, so that doesn't help much. Either way it goes, thanks for the consideration and good luck to all! |

I gladly pay every year for mine. If I didn't, I'm sure they'd make me feel like a bonehead when I stop by their range (NRA headquarters is right by my house and I have a good enough relationship with the guys there that I'm sure they'd feel free to).

Okay, so I did promise a family photo earlier, and I would like to revise my reason for why you should pick me for an NRA one-year membership:
I'm a college student that doesn't have a whole lot of spare cash (everything I buy I've saved money for or sold something else off to get.) I also don't have a whole lot to do besides look at guns. Why, might you ask? I'm currently attempting to build up credits at a community college (I have a 3.5 GPA) so I can transfer to University of New Mexico, where my degree program will (hopefully) net me dual bachelor's degrees- Emergency Medical Services and Biology- as well as a Paramedic certification. I'm also currently in an EMT-B class, and taking summer classes... Gun porn, and these are all mine:
Like I said, this is my savings account... though if I'm ever so broke that I have to sell them off, I'd be pretty bummed. When your boss is somewhat unethical in their business practices (intentional or not), being able to save this kind of coin for stuff takes a LONG time. |

I used to be a member until about the mid eighties. I could give you a hundred lame ass excuses for letting my membership lapse:
It cost to much. They don't represent my interest. The magazine never had article I wanted to read.. I hate PACs. They're are always begging for money. The house payments due. I could go on and on till we all puked. If it's important enough you'll find a way, if it's not you'll find and an excuse. Over the years when people ask me why I wasn't a member the excuses got easier and easier. I'm probably the least deserving guy on this site, and should be taken to the woodshed over owning a bunch of guns and not being a member of the NRA. So, I would appreciate it greatly if you would consider throwing my name in the hat. |
